Stage 11
Central America
November 30, 2026, to January 31, 2027

Stage 11 of Jimmy Pelletier’s World Tour in Central America will begin in San José, the capital of Costa Rica, before heading north through several countries in the region. Jimmy will traverse mountainous landscapes, especially in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, where he will face long climbs and winding roads in rural areas. Steep slopes and lush tropical forests will dominate the scenery.
As he continues, Jimmy will pass through countries like Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala, where the roads will vary from coastal highways to mountainous routes, often exposed to intense tropical heat. The hot and humid climate will pose a constant challenge, particularly in the plains and valleys, where humidity can make the effort more grueling. Frequent rains are also expected during this time of year.

The route will then lead north toward Mexico, passing through cities like Tampico and Monterrey, before reaching the U.S. border at Nuevo Laredo. The contrast between rural areas and modern cities will be striking, especially as Jimmy reaches more developed regions of Mexico. Roads may range from well-maintained in urban areas to degraded or isolated in rural sections, requiring extra caution.
Throughout this stage, Jimmy will face a diverse geography, alternating between mountains, coastal plains, and tropical forests, with demanding climatic conditions. The crossing of Central America will offer a mix of physical challenges and culturally enriching experiences.
