RJP 2026 celebrates its 10th anniversary with an exceptional edition in France, marking a major milestone in Jimmy Pelletier’s global adventure. This edition takes the form of a 10-day organized trip, including 6 days of cyclingand a rest day in Tours, offering participants from Quebec a unique sporting, cultural, and human experience. The 675.3 km route will connect Versailles to Orléans, passing through Angers, Le Mans, and Tours, before returning to Versailles. This symbolic loop reflects the spirit of resilience and solidarity at the heart of the event.

The start will take place at the Château de Versailles, an iconic site of French history and art, representing the grandeur and refinement of the classical era. Jimmy will be accompanied by cyclists from Quebec, united to share this unique journey.

Along the way, participants will travel through regions rich in history and culture:

  • Le Mans: Known for its world-famous motor race, the city also offers a remarkable medieval heritage with Roman walls and a charming old town.
  • Angers: Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, the city is renowned for its imposing castle housing the Apocalypse Tapestry and its celebrated vineyards.
  • Tours: Nicknamed the “Garden of France,” Tours is a gateway to the Loire Valley’s most beautiful castles, such as Chenonceau, Amboise, and Villandry. A full rest day is planned here to allow participants to relax or explore the region.
  • Orléans: A historic city linked to Joan of Arc, Orléans offers exceptional heritage sites like the Sainte-Croix Cathedral and is close to many of the region’s iconic castles.

The return to Versailles will follow a slightly different route, providing new perspectives on the cultural and natural beauty of the regions crossed. This loop will take cyclists through varied landscapes, rolling hills, picturesque villages, and scenic views along the Loire — all within a unique athletic challenge.

  • Climate: Mild summer conditions with regional variations. Rain is possible, especially in valleys and wooded areas.

  • Arrival: A symbolic return to the Château de Versailles, where friends, partners, and supporters will gather to celebrate this historic and meaningful 10th edition of Jimmy Pelletier’s World Tour.
